He has continued to attain quality experience in teaching a range of students, be they a Beginner to dance, or the experienced Working dancer. He holds the patience to work with a beginner, and exudes the intense push that the working dancer needs to continue to grow. D’Jae Storm ranges in a multitude of styles of dance. Because of that, when relaying information to students, he is more capable of using proper terminology and/or imagery to aid students in understanding Movement.

One thing he is thankful to be able to share with others is that although there may be a definition to the movement or material being discovered in A Dance, The Dancer still has to Invest, Get Involved, and Present Themselves where they are in that moment to the Dance. This process is what creates art and tells a story, and that is the capability, freedom, and gift that Dance can bring!
Born in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, Tai Doinal Ryan White eats, sleeps, and breathes the arts. This creative director, choreographer, dancer, singer, actor, and model, moves to the beat of his heart with alluring presence and drive!  After receiving fan mail from a foreign exchange student from Japan, who spent a summer in his home, at the age of 4 Tai knew he was going to dance his way through life. “Dance chose me,” is White’s answer to the question, why dance?

Being raised in the south in St. Petersburg Florida, White had to stop dancing and creating at the age of 16 due to health complications. After what he calls a “Miraculous Encounter,” he resumed dancing but mainly in ministry. A trip to the dancewear store to find out prices for liturgical wear would be the launching pad for his journey into the professional dance world. He danced all over his community then found his way into the Academy of Ballet Arts and in the presence of Suzanne Pomerantzeff, who would take him under her wings and give him distinct classical training. This ballet mistress invested technical knowledge into him which made him a desirable muse for many choreographers all up the east coast. Choreographers like; Sheryl Wong, Freddie Moore, Aubrey Lynch, and what would later become his Modern and Jazz teacher Ferdinand Dejesus.
White has created his own choreographic works in the form of “Shadows of the Mind,” His very own urban ballet. He has choreographed solos for finalists in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and inspired the youth in his community by becoming a dance teacher in the magnet programs of John Hopkins Middle School. He also was the assistant choreographer to the Kali Kali Dance Company, participants and Winners of BET’s 106&park Wild-n-out Wednesday.

Recently relocated to Los Angeles, White is signed to Go 2 Talent Agency and is pursuing his career in the arts with passion and an undeniable energy that only he possesses! With credits such as Kanye West, Mc Lyte, Marsha Ambrosius, Jaguar, Raheem Devaughn, Fox’s Empire and much more; White Looks forward to the many awesome experiences his industry has to offer him.
